Michele Ross LCSW has been in the mental health field for 20 years.  She has been in private practice for 15 years.

Michele enjoys working with both individuals and couples.  She is a compassionate therapist with a unique style.  She provides guidance and support for individuals who are challenged by dating and relationships, and couples that want to increase their communication and intimacy.  She also helps individuals find relief from Depression and/or Addiction.

After graduating undergraduate psychology with a Bachelor of Arts from University of Southern California, she received her Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California in 1994. She then completed an intern and fellowship in psychology at the Department of Psychiatry, Kaiser Permanente Hollywood. Michele was a member of the trauma team at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles as a trauma worker and supervisor for 14 years. 

Michele has had extensive experience in the field of mental health; early in her career she worked with the street youth of Hollywood, and children and adult survivors of sexual abuse/trauma.  She has also worked in numerous in-patient settings at hospitals such as Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, St. John’s Hospital, Century City Hospital, and Glendale Memorial.  In her private practice setting her specialties include working with men and women suffering from eating disorders, and compulsive addictive behaviors (e.g. spending, eating, addictive relationships). 

Along with a traditional psychology training background, she has also been a student of various psycho-spiritual practices including Buddhism, Sacred Therapy, Transformational Work and Meditation. 

Michele is certified as a mediator and collaborative divorce coach.
